When writing about this, you started off mentioning Gauteng MEC Panyaza Lesufi. He
has been outspoken about Afrikaans schools in his province. But, there is research you
draw on that says that multilingualism is essential for SA education to flourish. Tell us
more about that. You don't disagree that Afrikaans education has traditionally benefited from a lot of investment - particularly through our past. You argue that some of those resources should, and does, need to be rerouted into empowering other languages.
