Abs, speaks to the US correspondent Adrian Brune
American politicians on both sides of the aisle rebuked President Donald Trump after an extraordinary press conference yesterday in which he appeared to accept President Vladimir Putin’s denial of Russian election meddling over the conclusions of U.S. intelligence officials. Trump was upbeat immediately after the meeting but by the time he returned stateside on Monday evening, his mood had soured considerably amid sustained fury. He offered a defiant rebuke of his critics mid-Tuesday morning, writing on Twitter: "While I had a great meeting with NATO, raising vast amounts of money, I had an even better meeting with Vladimir Putin of Russia.""Sadly, it is not being reported that way - the Fake News is going Crazy!" he proclaimed.
