The massive surge of refugees in Europe hailing from the Middle East and Africa has barely scratched the surface for the number of asylum seekers who will come to the continent, a German politician warned Monday.

At least six people have been killed in unrest in Sudan's West Darfur, sources said Monday, the day after security forces dispersed protesters outside government buildings in the state capital Geneina. 

German Nazi hunter Beate Klarsfeld said on Monday she fears "the worst" for Burundi if "massacres" linked to the political crisis in the strife-torn African country continue.
